Preparing for Graduation
Current requirements for graduation can be found at the Graduate School's home page: http://www.graduate.umaryland.edu/r_gradstud.html. Please be sure to check with the Graduate School for the current forms. It is important to check the UMGSB Graduation Requirements Timetable which is posted in Kathleen Reinecke's Office. You may also call the Graduate School at 706-7131 (UMB) or 455-2537 (UMBC) for the upcoming semester's application for diploma deadlines.
Please remember that you must be registered for at least one research credit in the semester in which you intend to graduate. This includes summer and winter graduation. Ordinarily, students are not registered in the summer and winter sessions. If you are planning to graduate in the summer or winter, please make sure that you are registered, or you will not be able to graduate.
